At WellWay Babcock Ranch, every decision begins with the member experience.

Investing in the Member Experience

Over the past year, your feedback has led to meaningful additions across the club. We have expanded the fitness floor with new equipment, extended our weekend hours, extended recovery services, and continued to recruit the area’s best group fitness talent. We have done all of this while maintaining memberships with no contracts or enrollment fees.

Just as important are the people who bring WellWay to life each day. We employ approximately 30 residents of the Babcock Ranch community, and we deeply value the greetings, relationships, and helpful service our team provides. We believe a welcoming front desk, an instructor who knows your name, and a professional who understands your goals are essential parts of a great health club—not extras.

Expanding Our Wellness & Recovery Offerings

Our vision, however, has always extended beyond fitness.

We have been building a full-service wellness club that connects movement, recovery, nutrition, and personalized health services. A WellWay membership brings together an expansive fitness floor, more than 40 weekly group fitness classes, small-group strength training, our six-lane heated outdoor pool, and an extensive collection of state-of-the-art recovery services. These include unlimited Redlight Therapy, Dry Float Sensory Deprivation Therapy, and Normatec Compression Therapy, along with additional services and amenities that would cost substantially more if purchased separately.

We have also created pathways to advanced wellness options, including physician-reviewed laboratory testing, medical-grade supplements, and professional guidance from registered dietitians. The goal is not simply to offer more. It is to give members convenient access to credible resources and help them make more informed decisions about their health.

The next stage of that vision is already underway. On September 9th, we launched Solius, an FDA-cleared light-therapy technology that represents another step in the continued expansion of our wellness and recovery offerings. We are also planning an upcoming sauna and cold-plunge event on September 26th that will give members an opportunity to experience and learn more about additional approaches to recovery that we intend to bring down the road.

Community Partnerships

Our partnerships are another important part of how we serve the community. Through our relationship with Emiro Perez and his Elite Swim, members and families have access to unmatched swim instruction in our pool. Rather than trying to do everything ourselves, we seek outstanding local partners who share our commitment to quality, expertise, and service.

We are excited to bring that same collaborative approach to our café. After several years of effort, we have secured the café space within our building as part of our lease. We are now partnering with Brad and Brittany Campagna of Blend Lab to bring the space to life as Blend Lab Café at WellWay, serving healthy juices, smoothies, bowls, and coffee. Our goal is to open as quickly as possible and create another welcoming place for members and neighbors to gather and connect.

These decisions reflect who we are and what we value. WellWay was founded on the belief that people deserve a clearer, more personal, and more connected path to better health. Our Commitment to Babcock Ranch

When we acquired the business from Lee Health, we invested more than $1.5 million knowing it would take years to realize a financial return. We have not yet reached profitability. Instead, we have continued to reinvest in the club, our team, and the member experience because we believe Babcock Ranch deserves a true full-service health and wellness destination.

Some have said that we “finally have competition” with a lower-priced, 24-hour gym entering the community. We are genuinely pleased to welcome Q Fitness to Babcock Ranch and wish them success. We have even met with their team to explore opportunities to work together. Although the community is still growing and operating a business here remains challenging, we believe there is room for different options—and that Babcock Ranch residents deserve those choices.

We aren’t the cheapest option, and we never will be. Our responsibility is to provide value that extends far beyond access to exercise equipment: exceptional people, meaningful relationships, expert resources, diverse programming, recovery services, trusted partnerships, and a club experience designed around our members.

We will continue to invest responsibly at each stage of Babcock Ranch’s growth. And we aren’t done. We will keep listening, improving, and working to earn your membership every day.
